About Me

My journey from reader to writer began just a few years ago. I could hear and see these characters so I started writing in my journal. Lochlan and Elise’s story became Encounters and Journeys. My third book, In Rhythm, is about Lochlan's twin sister, Brianna. I finished it during NaNoWriMo 2023. I finished writing the fourth book in the 2nd and 3rd Chances series during NaNoWriMo 2024. Readers spend time getting to know Brendan Hughes in What You Never Imagined. I’m hoping to self-publish Encounters by early 2027.

Noelle Sweeney is my pen name. It's origin comes from both of my parents. I was supposed to be born on December 26th, so my mom planned to name me Noelle. My last name is a challenge to spell and pronounce. Whenever we made reservations or ordered takeout, my dad used the name Sweeney.

Anyone else collect hobbies? I do. I've taken baking classes at King Arthur Baking School in Vermont, quilt-making classes around the United States and cooking classes in Tuscany. I own a piano I hope to learn how to play and I'm planning to sign up for beginner mah-jong classes. I'm a life-long learner. Maybe I'll meet you in a class someday.
